BRIndex30 loses 58.42 points

On Tuesday, the BRIndex30 opened at 8,845.59 points and remained in negative for most of the trading session except for around first fifteen minutes. It touched the intra-day high of 8,875.97 points and low of 8,783.74 points and closed at 8,787.17 points with a net negative change of -58.42 points or -0.66 percent lower than previous close.
The volume was 23,446,660 shares, which was 46.34 percent of KSE All share volume and 85.88 percent of KSE-100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 50,592,194 shares and KSE-100 volume was 27,301,375 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 636.04 with a net negative change of -0.16 points or percentage change of -0.03 and turnover of 5,212,926 shares.
BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 2,607.24 with a net negative change of -12.27 points or percentage change of -0.47 and turnover of 4,004,022 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,712.40 with a net negative change of -21.31 points or percentage change of -1.23 and turnover of 2,437,613 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,491.35 with a net negative change of -18.6 points or percentage change of -0.74 and turnover of 1,853,059 shares. BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 432.52 with a net negative change of -0.45 points or percentage change of -0.1 and turnover of 1,235,597 shares.
