Eigth International Plastic & Pack, Iftech-2011 exhibition inaugurated

The 8th International Plastic and Packaging Industry Exhibition - PLASTI & PACK Pakistan 2011 and 8th International Food & Technology Exhibition Incorporating Pharmaceutical Technology and Food Chemicals -IFTECH Pakistan 2011 was inaugurated at Karachi Expo Centre Tuesday.
Former president Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Khalid Firoz jointly inaugurated the event along with French Commercial Councillor Francis Widmer and Turkish Commercial Attaché Fisum Aktug. Chairman Pegasus Consultancy Aasim A Siddiqui and Managing Director Pegasus Consultancy Aamir Khanzada were also present on the occasion.
More than 170 world's leading manufacturers from 22 countries are displaying latest plastic and packaging machines, pharmaceutical technology and food chemicals at 8th PLASTI & PACK and 8th IFTECH Pakistan 2011.
Major international brands manufacturers such as Kampf GmbH and Windmoller & Holscher from Germany, Bertuzzi Food Processing and M/s Rossini of Italy, Sinomech Corp and Yus Mold Machine of China, Quality Minerals of Thailand, BSW Machinery of Austria, K Tron Ltd of Switzerland and Borough of U.A.E are displaying their top machines at the exhibition. Besides, the event is also featuring country pavilions from China, Turkey and Italy.
Speaking on the occasion, Khalid Firoz said that top international manufacturers are displaying their latest machines at the show, because they see big opportunity for their products in Pakistan.
Chairman Pegasus Consultancy Aasim Siddiqui said that leading international manufacturers of world best machines and technology are displaying their products at the show. We have received an overwhelming response from the leading international and local companies. Some of them have come to Pakistan for the first time, he added.-PR
