A 5-member Chinese delegation visited EPZA on Monday. Aftab Ahmed Memon, Chairman EPZA along with the officers of EPZA welcomed the delegates. Li Jiashou Chairman, Chamber of Yunnan Province of China was leading the delegation. The Chairman EPZA briefed the delegation about the progress of the Zone. The delegation appreciated the progress and initiatives taken by management of EPZA for Investment in EPZA.
Li Jiashou informed that there were two exhibitions being organised in their province in the month of June, 2011. Their purpose is to promote imports from Asian countries to reduce their trade surplus. He invited EPZ exporters and officials to participate in these exhibitions. The Chairman appreciating the invitation promised to have the Board of EPZA approve the visit of officers and entrepreneurs with close liaison and co-operation of FPCCI and TDAP. In the end EPZA Year Book-2010 and Souvenirs were distributed among the delegation members.-PR
