The first meeting of the board of Trustees of the Economic Co-operation Organisation (ECO) Science Foundation, being established by the ECO member states, will be held in Islamabad on 12th April. The major objective of this foundation is to promote Science and Technology research for socio economic development of the country.
Spokesperson Pakistan Science Foundation Rehana Batool said the main purpose for establishing ECO Foundation is to provide a bridge between researchers at the universities/R&D organisation and the industry.
