A few changes seen in low business on grain market

A few changes were witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Thursday as a result of easy supply position from the upcountry centres, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old Bardan shed Rs 50 to Rs 2375 and wheat new Bardan also lost the same amount at Rs 2390, other items maintained the overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 15 to Rs 3340 while the best type was unchanged at 3400, other varieties held the overnight levels in process of lean business, they said. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality gained Rs 5 to Rs 1375 while the other items retained the overnight levels due to indifferent attitudes by buyers, they said.
