Guard Group and Daewoo Pakistan have entered in to an agreement to establish Guard Auto Zones at motorway on the facilities of Daewoo facilitation centres. Guard Group will establish four Auto Zone Centres for serving the vehicles and provide quality Guard genuine filter of the international standard along with most suitable quality lubricants to suit the life of vehicles, said Sheryar Ali Malik project executive of Guard Auto Zones, while speaking at the MoU signing ceremony.
Sheryar Ali Malik said concept of Guard Auto Zones is unique and the first in Pakistan. Guard Group has 50-year experience in the filter manufacturing and Guard Filters are OEM on Toyota/Suzuki/Honda/Hino and Millat Tractors etc, he added. Sheryar further informed the visitors that Guard Auto Zones are already present on Metro and Makro Cash n Carry chains of stores all over Pakistan, which is a landmark for the products of Guard products and reflect the confidence of world class stores of the world.
H. J. Kim Chief Executive Daewoo and his delegation visited the Guard filter factory and signed the MoU on behalf of Daewoo, while Sheryar Ali Malik inked the document on behalf of Guard Group.
A large number of business community leaders and business executives were present on this occasion including Tariq Saeed former President FPCCI and Saarc Chamber, leader of the businessmen community and VP of Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Iftikhar Ali Malik Chairman Guard Group, Fouzia Qasim and Nusrat Abbas trustees of Mumtaz Bakhtawar Hospitals, a social project of Guard Group.
Speaking on this occasion H. J. Kim showed his great confidence in the products of Guard and said that Guard Auto Zones is just a beginning of Guard Daewoo relations and it would go a long way in business cooperation between the two groups. Chairman Guard Group Iftikhar Ali Malik speaking at the ceremony highlighted future programme of the Group and termed the MoU singing as a landmark in the history of Guard Group. He said that Guard Group is so thankful to Korea for building motorway and other projects to promote Pakistan's industry.
