The second death anniversary of famous historian and editor-in- chief of Quaid-i-Azam Papers Wing, Dr Zawwar Hussain Zaidi will be observed on Thursday. According to a private news channel, late Zawwar Hussain Zaidi did a selfless service to revive the history of Pakistan Movement and familiarised the younger generation with the qualities of the great Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
His work and contribution in the production of Jinnah Papers was lauded by the President Zardari as Dr Zaidi continued working in the QAPW despite his poor health and old age. Quaid-i-Azam Papers Wing of Ministry of Culture has brought out the 18th volume of the Jinnah Papers series just seven days before his death anniversary on March 31. Dr Zawwar Hussain Zaidi died in Lahore after suffering heart attack on March 31, 2009.
