SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down 0.39 percent Tuesday, as a gloomy outlook for China's economy and overnight falls on overseas markets weighed on sentiment, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 9.03 points at 2,282.52.
