Minor changes seen in lean business on grain market

Subdued business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday due to balanced demand and supplies from upcountry centres, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old Bardan new and wheat New Bardan new both types shed Rs 25 to Rs 2550-4565, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag low type was up by Rs 10 to Rs 1370 while the best type retained its overnight level at Rs 1400. Rapeseed Nawabshah low type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2050 and good type picked up Rs 35 to Rs 2060,they said. Rice and grams sectors maintained overnight levels during the day, they said.
