At least 14 people were killed when a cargo plane crashed Monday into a residential area of Pointe-Noire, the Republic of Congo's economic capital, a police officer at the scene told AFP.
"We have just pulled 14 bodies from the scene of the accident," said the officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, adding that rescue workers were continuing their efforts. The officer said the Antonov plane was carrying four crew members and five passengers.
