'MQM not to join new cabinet'

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi Wednesday said that the party would not join new federal cabinet. Talking in a private TV channel programme, he said the Prime Minister had called MQM leader Altaf Hussain and informed him about redesigning of the federal cabinet and also invited him to join the cabinet.
He said the party leadership informed the Prime Minister that MQM has 'decided in principle' not to join the cabinet. However, Rizvi said, the party would continue to support every positive step of the government in vital national interest.
