Prices move both ways on grain market

Prices moved both ways on the wholesales grain and seed market on Saturday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old with Bardan quoted at Rs 2640-2645 and wheat new with Bardan was registered at Rs 2655-2660.
Masoor Canada went up by Rs 300 to 6800, gur best type retained its overnight level at Rs 6200 while the low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 5500. Khandsari was quoted at Rs 8000-8500, other items maintained their overnight levels, they said. On the grams side grams Australia was down by Rs 100 to Rs 5250-5450. Grams dal Australia was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 6200-6400.
Yellow peas Canada followed the same pattern, losing Rs 100 to Rs 3600-3750. Yellow peas dal Canada low type gained Rs 100 to Rs 4000 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 4150. Yellow peas Ukrain low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 3500 and best quality was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 3750 and yellow peas dal Ukrain appreciated by Rs 100 to Rs 3950-4100, they said. On the seed side cottonseed olcake with bag Sindh low type maintained its overnight level at Rs 1280 while the superior type lost Rs 15 to Rs 1285, other items maintained their overnight levels in process of trading, they added.
