Punjab University Hailey College of Banking Finance (HCBF) Saturday won the IInd continuous match defeating University Law College team by 6 wickets in PU Inter-Collegiate Cricket Championship. University Law College team batted first and scored 144 runs. Hailey College's. M. Zubair took three wickets, while Abu Bakar snared two wickets.
In reply, Hailey College of Banking & Finance team chased the target successfully losing four wickets only. Captain M. Atif scored 47 not out runs while M. Zubair scored 25. M. Atif was declared man-of-the-match on his all-round performance. The brilliant results in sports had been made possible by the generous funding by PU vice-chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran and keen interest of Principal Professor Dr Khawja Amjad Saeed for the promotion of sports.
