Grams prices turn higher on grain market

Grams prices were higher on the wholesales gain and seed market on Thursday due to strong demand, dealers said. Grams Australia was up by Rs 50 to Rs 5350-5550, grams Dal Australia followed the suit and picked up Rs 100 to Rs 6400-6600.
Yellow peas Canada posted fresh gain of Rs 200 to Rs 3500-3650, yellow peas Dal Canada low type appreciated by Rs 250 to Rs 3900 and good type gained Rs 350 to Rs 4150. Yellow peas Ukrain low type rose by Rs 200 to Rs 3400 and good quality was higher by Rs 150 to Rs 3500 and yellow peas dal Ukrain moved up by Rs 250 to Rs 3850-4000. Bajra was the only item which tended lower by 100 to Rs 2400-2900, they said.
On the cereal side wheat old shed Rs 10 to Rs 2645 and new shed also the same amount to Rs 2660. Gur followed the suit losing Rs 300 to Rs 5700-6200, other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type went up by Rs 10 to Rs 1280 while the other type remained unchanged mainly because of balanced demand and supply factor, they said. Prices retained the overnight levels on the rice sector during the day, they added.
