Pakistani ski contingent return from Czech training

A two-member national ski contingent has arrived back after attending a training camp at Harrachov in Czech Republic, says a press release received here on Wednesday. The two-week long training camp on Cross-country skiing was organised and sponsored by International Ski Federation (FIS).
The training was aimed at launching X-country event as a regular feature of national ski competitions and is expected to help Pakistan ski team to qualify for X-country event, besides the Alpine skiing in Olympic Winter Games'2014 to be held in Sochi, Russia.
On return, the skiers met Air Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, President Ski Federation of Pakistan and apprised him about the training activities they have undergone abroad.-PR
