A full bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Wednesday adjourned hearing to Thursday (today) in dozens of writ petitions filed by 26 members of provincial and national assembly for dismissal of petition challenging their qualification.
Earlier a law officer submitted before the court that after the abolition of graduation condition these petitions had become ineffective. He further said that the Supreme Court had already held that the election commission was the first appropriate forum to avail such remedy.
