The spoke-sman Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Ahsan Iqbal on Monday termed the MQM proposal to hand over Punjab province into Army control as political joke. Reacting to the MQM criticism on PML-N, he said the number of people killed in Karachi has outnumbered the total number of casualties in terrorists' attacks.
The MQM on Sunday urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of what it called an increasing number of serious crimes in the Punjab and also proposed the Army to take over control of the province. PML-N spokesman in a statement said MQM can't hoodwink the people by issuing baseless statements about Punjab rather it (MQM) can't hide bloodbath being committed by its workers.
