Washington: The US military on Tuesday detected a probable missile launch from North Korea, a Pentagon official said, marking the first apparent launch in months.
"At approximately 1:30 pm (1830 GMT), we detected a probable missile launch from North Korea," Pentagon spokesman Colonel Rob Manning said.
"We are in the process of assessing the situation and will provide additional details when available."
