Synthetic Products Enterprises Limited (SPEL) has been declared one of the fastest growing, most dynamic companies in Pakistan. The competition is held on yearly basis to find the fastest growing, most dynamic entrepreneurs of Asia and builder's of the continent's future wealth and employment. The competition takes place in 20 Asian countries and 25 fastest growing companies are selected from each country.
Professor Michael Porter of Harvard Business School is the chairman of All World Network's Advisory Board that holds this competition with its global partners. These partners are United Nations Office of Partnerships, World Bank Institute, Endeavour SA, Harvard University Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, Business Council for International Understanding, Centre for Strategic Competitiveness at IIT-Stuart School of Business, and leadership training institute Pinnacle Ltd. This completion in Pakistan is held in partnership with JS Bank.
The companies were ranked by the percentage growth of their annual revenue (turnover) between 2007 and 2009. They look for companies that have been able to grow at a very fast rate for the years in consideration. Also, each company qualified for the lists must meet international standards of competitive entrepreneur-ship. Real companies with real growth and real success are looked for and ranked on pure performance and fastest growing.
The honour is testimonial of SPEL's commitment to growth, employment generation, dynamic entrepreneur-ship and contributing towards Pakistan's economy. The company will strive to continue maintaining its growth pattern and become Pakistan's leading company in plastic processing.
