NAB Chairman seeks preliminary report of inquiry against NTS

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal Tuesday sought preliminary report of the inquiry conducted against irregularities in National Testing Service NTS.

The Chairman had ordered NAB Rawalpindi Director General to conduct the inquiry on receiving several complaints against the NTS.

The complaints included frequent outing of question papers, alleged corrupt practices and failure to protect interests of students.

The NAB Rawalpindi has also been assigned to probe the responsible of allowing the NTS to conduct various examinations despite the presence of Provincial and Federal Service Commissions.

NAB had also been assigned to probe reasons of NTS’s failure of devising a fool proof, transparent and merit based examination system, which was failed badly to serve student’s interests.

The failure of NTS has not only jeopardized the future of students but also squandered their precious amounts, which has no moral of legal reasons.
