Minister Religious Affairs Auqaf Haji Ihsan-ul-Din Qureshi has said that the extract of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh's teachings is love and he never hated anyone even to his enemy.
He was addressing the participants of Syed Hajver Tasawaf seminar held in the Al-Raazi Hall of Centre for Undergraduate Studies New Campus in collaboration with Punjab University Hajveri Chair, Arabic Department and Provincial Religious Affairs Auqaf Department in connection with 967th Urs of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh on Thursday.
Vice-Chancellor Punjab University Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran, Secretary Tariq Mahmood Pasha, President PU Hajveri Chair Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar, DG Religious Affairs Dr Tahir Raza Bukhari, Principal Oriental College Professor Dr Mazhar Moeen, Chairman Arabic Department Dr Khaliq Dad Malik, Kh Ghulam Qutab-ud-Din Faridi and a large number of religious scholars and faculty members were present on the occasion.
The minister urged for the promotion of unity and solidarity to establish peace, love and stability in the country to get rid of challenges. He said that the teachings, character and message of Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh is providing inner satisfaction, belief and educating people. Dr Tahir Raza Bukhari said Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh equally shared the happiness and grieves of the people of Lahore.
