Chief minister Punjab discusses Monorail project with Scomi International

A delegation of Scomi International Company led by Malaysian Ambassador in Pakistan, Dato Ahmad Adnan Anwar met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here Sunday and discussed Monorail Project. Members Punjab Assembly Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman, Chairman Lahore Transport Company, Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan, Vice Chairman Punjab Investment Board, Chairman Planning & Development and Secretary Transport were also present on the occasion.
Technical Advisor of Scomi International, Jason Jay Luddine and Group Chief Financial Officer, Jack Penkin highlighted technical and financial aspects of the project. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that provision of modern transport facilities to the masses is the top priorities of the government and Monorail Project is of vital importance in this regard. He describe the briefing regarding monorail project as comprehensive and constituted a special committee headed by Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan to discuss various aspects of the monorail project with Scomi International Company.
