Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh met with Chairman of Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Bader Al-Sa'ad on Sunday to discuss bilateral trade and investment. They discussed ways to enhance diversified relations, specially the investment in Pakistan by companies from Kuwait, says a press release received here from Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait.
The Finance Minister gave a review about the existing investment environment in Pakistan. He said that Pakistan had an extremely liberal investment regime and there were no restrictions on foreign investment and flow of capital.
He said the current investment policies had been tailor made to meet investor needs. He said that there was great potential for investment in the fields of oil and gas, corporate farming, agriculture and infrastructure.
