Arbab Ahmed Syed and Chaudhry Jehanzeb have been elected as President and General Secretary of District Bar Association Multan by bagging 754 out of total 1,874 votes cast. Only 1,874 out of total 3,066 registered voters exercised their right of franchise. There were triangular fight among the candidates.
Presidential candidates Arbab Syed obtained 754, Allah Ditta Kashif Bosan 652 and Mehr Najaf Ali Chavan 449 votes. Candidates of General Secretary Chaudhry Jehanzeb got 718, Aurangzeb Alamgir 615 and Faheem Abbas 512. Muhammad Fayyaz elected as Vice-President by bagging 1,133 votes, Malik Irshad elected as Joint Secretary by getting 1,203 votes, Rana Ameeq-ur-Rehman was elected as Finance Secretary by securing 1,110 votes and Ahsan Mumtaz Maitla elected as library secretary by bagging 1195 votes.
