Little business was seen on the wholesale grains and seed market on Thursday as many buyers were on the sidelines partly because of upward trend in the prices, dealers said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh gained Rs 25 to Rs 3350 and Rs 3375. Sela Basmati low type was up by Rs 300 to Rs 5800 and best quality was higher by Rs 400 to Rs 6000, other items maintained the overnight levels amid balanced demand and supply factor, they said.
On the seeds side, rapeseeds Nawabshah was quoted at Rs 2350-2375 and cakes rose by Rs 10 to Rs 950-960, they said. Cereals and grams sectors remained unchanged, they added.
