RAWALPINDI: As many as 10 victims of Faizabad protest are under medical treatment in Allied hospitals while an injured brought to Benazir Bhutto Hospital on Saturday is stated to be in critical condition.
Talking to APP, Additional Superintendent, Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH), Dr. Masood Safdar informed Sunday that two policemen who received injuries when the protestors attacked the house of former Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan were brought to BBH.
Total 29 victims were brought to BBH on Saturday while five are still under medical treatment including a patient in critical condition. The District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Medical Superintendent, Dr. Khalid Randhawa said that no victim was brought to DHQ.
Out of total 11 patients brought to Holy Family Hospital, three are still admitted in the hospital and they are out of danger, said Medical superintendent Dr Tariq Niazi.
