The Malaysian investors would invest in the transport sector in Sindh. This was stated by Sindh Transport Minister Akhtar Hussain Jadoon. He was chairing a meeting of the officials of the Department here on Wednesday. The Minister informed that during his visit to Malaysia he discussed with the transporters there for the investment in the transport sector.
He said that a delegation of the Malaysian investors would soon visit Pakistan for investment in the transport sector in the province. Akhtar Jadoon further stated that a sum on Rs 200 million would be spent on the construction of modern bus terminals in Thatta and Badin. He further said that 11 modern bus terminals on the pattern of Japan and Malaysia would be set up in Sindh. The Minister asked the rickshaw owners to convert their rickshaws into four stroke ones and their silencers be maintained so that there be no smoke emission or noise.
