Man, son gunned down

Naseer Ahmed Chandia and his son Munir Ahmed were shot dead by Asif Mohana and his accomplices on Tuesday in Rangpur (Muzaffargarh district) to take revenge of murder of his (Asif) brother Asad Mohana following a land dispute. Police said that Naseer Chandia and his accomplices had killed Asif last year following a land dispute.
They were granted bail and released from the prison sometime ago. Today Asif and his relatives overpowered Naseer and his son and killed them publicly. Later, the relatives of the slain blocked the road for three hours. A police officer assured them that a case has been registered against the culprits and they would be arrested within a short time.
