Park, Ride Plaza shops auction on January 26: Turkish delegation informed

Open auction of shops in the newly constructed Park and Ride Plaza located at the prime location of Liberty Market will be held on January 26 and the proceedings will be conducted in the presence of print and electronic media for ensuring transparency.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Additional Director General, Ihsan-ul-Haq disclosed this while briefing an eight-member Turkish delegation of the state-owned development company ISBAK, which visited the head office of LDA on Tuesday, disclosed a spokesperson. Secretary Transport Punjab, Captain Muhammad Yousaf (Retd) was also present on the occasion.
Ihsan-ul-Haq informed the visitors about the initiatives of LDA for infrastructure and business development in the city. He told them that a new commercialisation policy of LDA is being finalised which would help promote investment and business opportunities in the city. According to him, with a view to providing better facilities for business centres, the concept of Central Business District (CBD) has been introduced by LDA in the city.
This area will start from Mozang Chungi and will comprise areas surrounding Jail Road, Main Boulevard Gulberg and M. M. Alam Road. Special arrangements for commuting will be undertaken in the form of metro-service while specialised arrangements like civic amenities, parking spaces etc. will be put into place, he added.
