Cess committee approves 10 schemes

The Divisi-onal Sugarcane Development Cess committee approved 10 schemes of construction of culverts maintenance of drains and repair/rehabilitation of roads in the areas of different sugar mills in the Faisalabad Division at a cost of Rs 20.378 million.
The meeting of sugarcane development cess committee was chaired by Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain, and was attended by DCO Chiniot, and representatives of concerned sugar mills and relevant departments.
The committee approved 9 schemes of Ramazan SugarMills and one of Madina Sugar Mills. The chair directed the executing agencies to maintain quality and quantity in the work on the development projects and stressed upon completion within stipulated time.
