Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday hailed Prime Minister's decision to accept the 10-point agenda of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Addressing a press conference of MQM's Rabita Committee held at Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall via telephone from London, Dr Farooq Sattar, MQM's parliamentary leader in National Assembly, termed the reconciliation between government and opposition parties as a success of MQM.
He welcomed PML-N's decision to withdraw the deadline given to government. "Had the MQM not quit the government, the PML-N would have not given the deadline to government to accept the 10-point agenda," he opined. He said that MQM's agenda was to solve the problems of masses.
Farooq Sattar said due to the bold decision of MQM, the government and the opposition showed unity for solution of the problems being faced by the country and masses. This proved the MQM's decision correct, he added. He expressed hope that the government and opposition would play their due role for betterment of the country and would provide opportunity to other parties to take part in the development of the country.
Member MQM Rabita Committee Wasay Jalil said that in politics there was no deadlock and MQM would contact other political parties in future too if situation demands.
