Members Provincial Assembly belonging to various districts met the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister's Secretariat, here on Saturday and apprised him of ongoing development activities in their respective areas. Talking to the parliamentarians, Shahbaz Sharif said that service to the people and bringing the oppressed segments of the society to the development stream is our mission and sincere efforts are being made for its accomplishment.
He said that all resources are being spent for provision of education, health and other basic facilities to the people. He said that a comprehensive plan is being implemented for the promotion of economic activities and rapid development of the province.
He said that special attention has been paid to the progress of backward areas of the province and development schemes are being completed on priority basis in these areas. He said that the Assembly Members should play their effective role for early completion of development projects and provision of fruits of development to the people and leave no stone unturned for resolution of people's problems. Those who called on the Chief Minister included Awais Qasim Khan, Khurram Ijaz Chatha, Haji Ghulam Jaffar Sargana and Rai Farooq Umer Khan Kharal.
