Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif has appreciated Punjab government's performance vis-à-vis construction of model villages in the flood-hit areas and provision of health and educational facilities in the province. He said this while addressing a briefing session, here on Saturday, with regard to Danish Schools Project, mobile hospital units and establishment of model villages in flood-hit areas.
PML-N leaders and legislators attended the meeting. He expressed satisfaction over the performance of Punjab chief minister and his team for the rehabilitation of flood affectees and provision of basic necessities to them as per the promises. "The PML-N would not leave flood affectees alone and would not take rest till rehabilitation of all the flood affectees. It would also take steps to set up model villages in the flood-affected areas of other provinces," he said. Nawaz also appreciated the Ashiana Housing Project of the Punjab government.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif said that rehabilitation of flood affectees is the top priority of Punjab government while steps are being taken to provide quality facilities to people in the health and education sectors. Under Ashiana Housing Project, people would get cheap residential houses in all cities of the province, he said.
