Pakistan need to transform its educational policies by including the emerging disciplines thereby to become a real vanguard and elite member of world economy based upon knowledge and information technology. Emphasised by UAF VC Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while addressing the participants of welcome ceremony of International Club of the University here in STC Hall on Friday evening.
Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan told that today universities are on the way to co-ordinate and work together with their international organisations so as to meet the daunting challenges with the help of their global partners. DrIqrar Ahmad Khan revealed that UAF was very much on the road of internationalisation that enables the other countries of the region to be the vibrant member of the global economy as knowledge has no frontiers and limitations. He hoped that more students from Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan and other neighbour countries would get admission in UAF as it is providing state of the art educational, research and residential facilities to the students which hallmark its unique position and significance.
