Shahzain Bugti's bail plea rejected

The Session Court of Quetta has rejected the bail application of provincial president of Jamhoori Watan Party, Shahzain Bugti, here on Saturday. Shahzain's lawyer Wishisher Naath Kohli advocate told newsmen that the court has rejected the bail application. He said that after receiving detailed judgement, the verdict of the court would be challenged in Balochistan High Court.
He, however, declined to comment on the verdict of the session court. He termed the case against Shahzain and his 26 security guards political victimisation. Shahzain and his security guards are facing charges of carrying huge quantity of illegal arms and ammunition. The learned court, after hearing of the application, had reserved its judgement on Thursday last.
