Extreme fog has caused massive disturbance to traffic flow on roads and flight schedule in the federal capital besides upper parts of the country and interior Sindh on Saturday. The twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi were enveloped by thick fog. The flights were suspended at Benazir International Airport as well, private news channel reported.
Thick fog and severe cold have also disturbed routine life in some area of South Punjab. The worst hit areas are Multan, Bhawalpure, Bhawalnagar, Kahniwal, Chicha Watni, Jhang and others. Severe cold wave and foggy weather have also disturbed normal routine life by hampering vehicular movement on roads besides causing inordinate delay in arrival and departure of flights.
