Four Indian boats seized for illegal fishing

The Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has apprehended four Indian fishing boats along with a crew of 10 for illegal fishing in Pakistani waters. An MSA statement here on Saturday said the Indian fishing boats were operating approximately 44 NM inside Pakistan waters.
It said MSA was maintaining continuous vigil over the country's exclusive economic zone (EEZ). On January 7, during routine patrolling MSA apprehended four Indian fishing boats along with 10 crewmembers operating approximately 44 NM inside Pakistani waters. The statement mentioned that Indian fishermen continue to intrude in Pakistan's marine rich Indus delta region for poaching high quality fish.
