Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has assured Muttahida Qaumi Movement that all its reservations would be addressed. During a telephonic conversation with MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain here on Saturday, Gilani expressed gratitude over the decision of MQM to rejoin the government saying that President Asif Ali Zardari has also given directives to resolve the issues at the earliest.
Both the leaders extensively discussed the current political situation of the country. Gilani assured MQM that all the decisions of national importance would be taken after taking MQM into confidence and masses' problems would be resolved at the earliest.
Altaf said MQM has rendered sacrifices for the democratic setup and would continue playing its role for democracy, the resolution of the problems of masses and for the stability of the country. MQM would also continue co-operation with the government for the betterment of masses. He expressed the hope that the government would take positive measures for resolution of problems of the people.
