The moon of new Islamic month Safarul Muzaffar was sighted on Wednesday and tomorrow (Thursday) would be first of Safar, said a press release. The meeting of the Central Ruet Hilal Committee was held in Met Complex in Karachi under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
The meeting was attended by Mufti Rafiq Hasni, Maulana Shabbir Azhari, Zonal Committee members Mufti Syed Sabir Hussain, Fatti Wali Khan Muzaffar, Qari Iqbal, Maulana Salafi and Allama Syed Ali Karar Naqvi.
