Equities move both ways on ISE

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an increase of 52.80 points, as the Index moved from 2,985.23 to 3,038.03 points. The overall turnover amounted to 444,058 shares, as compared to previous volume of 481,577 shares.
Total 147 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (125) closed in positive territory, 22 closed in negative territory. The turnover of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 244,400 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 49,090 shares. The turnover of D.G Khan Cement was 33,500 shares.
