Second Neuro-Intervention and Therapeutic Training Workshop on January 3
The Second Neuro-Intervention and Therapeutic training workshop will be organised on Monday (tomorrow) at Lahore General Hospital. Senior consultants including interventional neurologist of Western General Hospital Edinburgh, Dr Peter Keston would deliver lectures and perform various interventional procedures of Neuroangiography, mostly under general anaesthesia in the workshop.
A number of young doctors from LGH, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Sheikh Zayed Hospital and Pakistan Psychiatric Research Center would participate in the workshop. Principal PGMI/LGH Professor Dr Tariq Salah-ud-Din is the pattern of the workshop whereas Professor Anjum Habib Vohra, Head of Neurosurgery LGH, and Dr Umair Rasheed Chaudhry Chief Neuroradiologist of LGH are the chief co-ordinator and co-ordinator of the workshop, respectively. It may be noted that on the orders of the Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif a latest neuroangiography machine valued at Rs 200 million have been installed in the LGH a few months ago.
