Former federal minister and chief of the anti-graft caucus, Nawabzada Khawaja Mohammad Khan Hoti MNA has rejected increase in the prices of the petroleum products on the eve of the new calendar year, saying it will cause price hike in the country. In a statement issued here on Saturday, the former federal minister said that poor people facing multiple problems while the day to day increase in the prices of the electricity and petroleum products would further multiply their grievances.
He demanded of the government for cutting down their own expenses instead of increasing burden on the people. He said that educated youth are pushing from pillar to post, saying that failure in the resolution of their problems would sow the seeds of revolution. Hoti, who also heads an anti-graft caucus said that in the whole country in general and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in particular rulers are violating the merits.-PR
