Show of cause notices issued to judicial officers

The Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry has issued show cause notices to two judicial officers (JO) for influencing him (CJ) in matter of their promotion and posting.
Issuing notices to additional district and sessions judge Nankana Sahib Muhammad Saleem, and Shahzad Raza, civil judge Bahawalnagar Shahzad Raza, the CJ directed them to explain as to why disciplinary proceedings may not be initiated against them for being guilty of misconduct and asked them to submit their replies to within seven days.
