Message from Vice Chairman, Legal Affairs, Consumers Association of Pakistan

It gives me great pleasure to extent my greetings to all award winners and participants of Consumers Choice Award 2010.
In the capacity of Vice Chairman Legal Affairs, I must take opportunity to convey the message that due to our effort Consumers Protection Act has been promulgated in three provinces (Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan) and consumers of Punjab are enjoying facility of Consumer Court to get speedy justice for their grievances but unfortunately the same has to be done in Sindh Province. Myself and legal Affairs Committee of Consumers Association of Pakistan are doing our best for promulgation of Consumers Protection Act and establishment of Consumer Courts in Sindh.
I sincerely wish that all Pakistani consumers shall aware about unethical business practices, how to protect themselves and practising of consumers rights. In the same time I must request our Government to look into formulating policies which paved the way for Access to Justice.
