FPCCI invited to join Thar project: PPP-MQM coalition intact, says Qaim

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Wednesday said coalition between Pakistan People's Party and Muttaheda Quami Movement is intact and minor differences, if any, will be resolved amicably. "Difference of opinion can emerge even within family members," Chief Minister said during his inter-active session with members of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry here at Federation House.
He said the bill for re-launching of commissionery system in the province was ready to be presented in Sindh Assembly and hopefully this would soon become a law. He said PPP-led government was making its best possible efforts to maintain law and order, and there is a significant improvement on this account. We are fully aware that better law and order situation is very much needed for economic growth in the country, he added.
Qaim Ali Shah invited FPCCI members to join the project of Thar coal and other associated projects there, and assured them of full support and facilities from the government. President FPCCI Sultan Ahmed Chawla, newly elected FPCCI President Senator Ghulam Ali, Vice President, Confederation of Asian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and former president FPCCI Tariq Sayeed, President India-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and former president FPCCI, S M Muneer spoke of the problems facing the trade and industry in the province and presented certain solutions.
