Kayani addresses officers of Malir Garrison

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General, Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Karachi on Tuesday. An ISPR press release said that the COAS addressed the officers of Karachi Garrison. He spoke about the domestic and regional security issues and also dilated upon the ongoing military operations to restore normalcy in terrorism affected areas of the country.
He also lauded rescue and relief efforts undertaken by various Army Formations during the recent floods. On arrival, the COAS was received by Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir-ul Islam.
