'Taseer a crony of Musharraf'

Member Punjab Assembly, Dr Saeed Elahi has said that Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer has nothing to do with the mission of Mohtarma Benazir and he is only furthering the agenda of General Musharraf. He said that Salmaan Taseer is only shedding crocodile's tears as when Benazir was martyred, he was a federal minister and he had neither resigned nor expressed grief over the tragedy.
In a statement issued by him here on Tuesday Dr Saeed Elahi said that Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer's statement is highly ridiculous that he is furthering the mission of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He said that among the national leaders only Nawaz Sharif was the one who reached the hospital when he learnt about the attack on Benazir Bhutto to inquire about her well being, whereas, Salmaan Taseer neither condemned the suicide attack on Benazir Bhutto nor sympathised with the bereaved family. He said that Salmaan Taseer was a crony of dictator Musharraf and is still working on his agenda and trying to vitiate the democratic atmosphere of the country.
