Four persons including two activists of two political parties were killed here on Tuesday. A 24 years old Qadir Khan, son of Badshah Saeed was targeted and killed by unknown armed pillion riders near Bismillah Hotel, Pak Colony in the morning. His body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem. Officials at Pak Colony Police Station told Business Recorder that the deceased was the resident of Bajaur and was running a tea shop Bismillah Hotel.
The FIR no. 647/10 under section 302, 34 has been registered in Pak Colony Police Station against unknown suspects. The deceased was the activist of Awami National Party (ANP). In another incident 38 year old Hussain Bux, son of Mohammad Bux was targeted and killed by unknown armed pillion riders at Jumma Khan Road in the afternoon. Official at Alfalah Police Station told Business Recorder that Hussain Bux was on his way to the office by car when unknown armed suspects opened fire on him. The deceased was the President of Pakistan Peoples Party Youth Wing, District East and his body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy.
No FIR has been registered till the filing of this report. In another incident a clash erupted between two groups over a land dispute in Bhittaiabad and both the groups started firing on each other, a passer-by, 13-year-old youth Mir Salam, son of Abdul Mannan killed and Faiz, son of Aijaz and Ghulam Muhammad, son of Shahnawaz seriously injured.
The dead body and the injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy and treatment. Officials in Sachal Goth police station told Business Recorder that the two groups came across each other over a land dispute in Bhittaiabad while the deceased and the two injured persons were passer-by. No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report. In another incident 40-year-old Abdul Wahid, son of Fazal Wahid was killed in Bakhtawar Goth, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Block-9. The deceased was sitting outside his shop when two bike riders targeted him. Abdul Wahid sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Liaquat National Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
