Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Federal Advisor on Textile, Government of Pakistan and Hon. Consul General of Yemen in Sindh will be a part of the delegation visiting Yemen to attend Sixth Session of the Pak-Yemen Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) 28th - 29th December 2010.
The Federal Minister for Industries Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani will lead the delegation accompanied by the officials of Ministry of Economic Affairs from Pakistan side. The delegation will meet Yemeni Prime Minister H.E. Dr Ali Mohammad Mujawar and Minister of Industry and Trade H.E. Yahya Y. Al-Mutawakel.
Dr Baig will also call on Foreign Minister of Yemen H.E Dr Abu Bakr Abdullah Al-Qirbi and will have a meeting with President Yemen Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Industry to finalise inaugural meeting of Pak-Yemen Joint Business Council as per signed agreement between Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig on behalf of FPCCI and his Yemeni counter part on the visit of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan to Yemen.
The representative from private sector especially from rice, fan, footwear, pharmaceutical, textile, oil and gas are also invited by Dr Ikhtiar Baig to meet their counterparts in Yemen during the JMC to enhance the investment and bilateral trade between Pakistan and Yemen.-PR
