It has been observed quite a lot of times that even one minor road protest from any political/religious party causes horrific traffic jam where patients and other people suffer and hours are wasted, this happens especially in the evening when people are coming home from their shops and offices.
My suggestion to the concerned officials of NHA-Karachi is that the Lyari Expressway should be used to divert the traffic by reversing the flow of traffic and from 3:00pm to midnight by allowing traffic to move from Hawkesbay towards Sohrab Goth, the rest of the time of day traffic may move as usual (from Sohrab Goth to Hawkesbay).
After minor adjustments, this is very much possible. This will help a large number of people of KDA Shceme-33-34, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Federal 'B' Area and North Karachi to reach their home easily. This will not only reduce the burden of traffic on the other roads, but will also reduce the possibility of traffic jams and increase the revenue of the NHA.
